Default I wish I had a teenager to help me play in the arcade!

Either that, or I'm just really slow at the games.

I wish I had a teenager to do my laundry while I played the arcades

Some games are easier to play than others, I have a severe hand-eye coordination problem so I don't do well with Mario types of games, but trivia... I'm all over it

I've got two teens plus a DH to help me and I still stink at them. I am a lot like Lady_V. I do better at the critical thinking and trivia type games. The Mario and shooter type games I really stink it up.

I grew up in the arcade/console generation and I could pretty much blow most guys out of the water when it came to games like Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Marvel games, etc. I'm pretty good at mashing buttons to win and combos are pretty tricky, depending on the game.

Now I do my gaming at home and I've played alot of computer games like World of Warcraft, Age of Conan, Diablo II, etc that requires pretty decent hand-eye coordination.

No teenager here either .... but I do let my 9 or 11 year olds (mostly the 9) show me how to play something before I attempt it. Other than Tetris/Astroids/Space Invaders I'm a video game moron, although, I'm slowly getting better at Brainiac. I just ain't got the speed here yet either.

I, obviously, stink as well! Even DS 11 has labelled me a video game lost cause.

Is it bad that I'm the only one winning my games?

I think it's loads of fun just trying to figure out how some of the games operate. There are so many games. I haven't tried them all yet, but I am working on it. I just pick a letter of the alphabet and go down the line trying out the ones that look interesting to me. I do have a few favorites as well.

I'm well into my 50's and I have to say this arcade is addicting, and to think I use to yell at my kids to get off the PC and stop playing those games. Now they walk past my office and just shake their heads.

I have a 10 year old that likes to stand over me and is just dying to play all these games. I'm too addicted to these games to let her play.
