    Default Look what I made!

I went through all the junk mail yesterday and today and I realized that we throw a lot of stuff away. I cut paper from envelopes and letters and things and made a cute little note pad! I love that it's uneven and some of the pages are different colors. I used some card stock I had for the front and back covers and I punched holes and tied it with some ribbon I had. Oh and I stamped the cover.

I also ripped up all the Pennysavers and Circulars for a paper mache project that we need to paint.

Cute! I save all interesting paper for scrapping on a budget and my wall art has crumpled sales circular ads in it(painted over) for texture and fun shapes.

Now what will your next project be?

We get about a bazillion catalogues in the mail and we take them to our town's convenience center for recycling. I feel good knowing they are not just tossed into a landfill somewhere.

    Your notepad is so cute.

~What a great idea! I used to keep a stack of junk mail envelopes by the phone for notes but your idea is way cuter and much less clutter-y.~

I also use paper from envelopes etc. for notepads. Sometimes I just cut the paper and put it in a small box and if I need to write something down, a telephone number, an address or something, I just take a piece of paper from the box.
