Hot Water Bottles
Anyone else a fan? I have just made two to take to bed (I get cold at night!).
Had guests for about a week and a half this month and had to have heater on almost non stop so am worried my heating bill is going to be high since I generally only have it on for about two hours a day then turn if off when my son is in bed.
So am trying to even it out by layering up and not using any heating unless I need to.

I like them for aches and pains, which I have many! LOL Haven't tried them as an actual source of heating.

YES!
Good for newborn puppies or kittens(not too hot!)--to keep babies warm while mother is still birthing......... and the motherless ducklings we fished out of our pool last summer.
Also monthly cramps, but I'm done with those now.
And my DH's back pain--nothing helps it more.
I think water radiates heat deeper.______
