    Default I can't believe it...

I like the fall and winter holidays as much as the next person but does Michaels HAVE to have their Halloween and Christmas stuff up so early?

I can totally understand putting up the craft type stuff but that's not what this was.....I am getting old, I think.

It really kind of spoils the holiday for me as I get really sick of seeing it. I went in to look for some red, white, and blue sprinkles for July 4th but I guess it's too late for that

Walmart has their back to school section started. We don't start school for another 6 weeks.

Yes I hate how the stores keep moving up the holidays. Heck before you know it the after Christmas sales will be followed by the new Christmas merchandise.

As for schools, we got out May 23rd(?) and start back the first week of August. My son will be a senior sniff sniff. Where did the time go?

I walked by a yardsale and it looked like they were selling their xmas items. That was all there was. From where I was walking everything looked nice, but it just didn't seem right to be sweating and looking at xmas stuff.

When stores have xmas stuff out to soon it really does spoil the holiday.

Although I hate it when most stores put up holiday items early, Michael's is a craft store. At least for me, some crafts take a long time to complete. I do often start Christmas projects this early, in order to get them done by December, so I personally let Michael's 'off the hook', whereas it always irritates me when Walmart etc. puts their Christmas stuff out before Halloween.

Oh, back up, wait a minute, read ALL the words. You said it's not the craft stuff, but the regular decorations and stuff? No, you aren't getting old. Yes, it's ridiculous even for Michael's.

Hopefully it was the Christmas in July sale they do every year because it is way to early.

I was in Staples this weekend and noticed the back to school supplies out too. I am not ready to go back just yet.

I hate seeing all the items out when it isn't time to celebrate the holiday yet.
