    Smile Newbie From Illinois

    How did you hear about frugal village?
    I found it when doing searches about composting.

    What interests you here?
    FRUGAL LIVING...I have been doing "my best" at it for about 6-7 years now and there is always new things to learn.

    What will you contribute?
    Anything that I can...

    Do you know any other members here?
    No, I do not.

    How many kids? Ages?
    I have three children: A son 15, daughter 12 and a son 8

    Tell us about yourself.
    I grew up here in Illinois -- moved to D.C. area for two years and Chicago for one, then was ready to come back home!

    Do you own any pets?
    Yes, we have a boxer/pit mix that we adopted from a no-kill shelter last September. She is almost two years old and is the sweetest thing I have ever seen -- and yes, she is spoiled rotten.

    Occupation?
    I work from home doing transcription.

    Married or single?
    I am married -- tomorrow (July 1st) is my anniversary!

    Interests and hobbies?
    I enjoy reading -- just don't get to do it very often, but I love Janet Evanovich and others in that style/genre, or other non-fiction books. I also enjoy various crafts; sewing (know enough to get by), loom knitting, gardening, canning...and anything else that hits me when I get the "crafting jones" (as I call it).
