Default Anyone seen the new milk jugs?

Has anyone seen the new containers in your grocery stores? Apparently, they are suppose to be cheaper, more environmental friendly and the milk is suppose to be fresher.

Anyways, here is a link to see what they look like..

The milk that we buy at Costco comes in those milk jugs. They work fine, if they are not too full. You also have to be careful when you pour the first class.
They do fit nicely in the refrigerator and you can put item on top of them because they are flat.
I did not realized that other stores were going to start using them.

We've gotten them @ Sams Club a few times. It doesn't seem like a problem to me. DH said he's not particularly fond of them, a little harder to pour from. He's a smart man, he'll learn!!

I have had to use them at work for the last year or two. I find them to be annoying and they always spill the milk all over the counter. I wish we could go back to using the old ones!

They look odd and like they would waste milk through spilling it a lot. I'm glad I have a couple old glass milk half gallon jugs. I would just use them. Keeps the milk colder, too.

I like the environmental savings it offers even though it may be more difficult to pour. Just like any skill though, it will take time and practice to get the hang of it. I look forward to having this available. I also have some glass pitchers that can be used for daily milk use so I would only have to pour it over 1-2 times before it is empty.

I know in other country's milk comes in sealed plastic bags. When you get home with it you just pour it into your own pitcher. I think thats a better idea.

Milk in bags is all we have ever used here. However, you don't pour the milk into the container. You put the whole bag in the container and just snip the corner of the bag off. Easier to fit the milk in the fridge that way and not as heavy as a jug.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
