Apologize if I've offended anyone

I didn't want this to get lost in that other thread....

As many of you can probably tell, illegal immigration is a sore spot with me and its mostly due to DH's job and the increased threat it poses to him. I am passionate about this issue.

While I will not apologize for my views and my passion, I do apologize if I've offended anyone with them.

We're all friends here and I'd like to remain that way.

That's all I wanted to say ~ I'm returning the cat fight now

Jessica, Even though you and I disagree on many topics, (illegal immigration being one of them

)I respect your opinions and the way that you present them. We come from different places and have different life experiences. Those experiences color how we see different issues. One of my best friends in life is the complete and total opposite of me. Actually, she reminds me quite a bit of you. But, we are able to engage in good discussion and present our different opinions and agree to disagree and move on and enjoy each others company and celebrate when we do agree on things.

I have never been offended by a single thing you've said. I think it's important that we look at issues through the eyes of others. Otherwise, we run a dangerous risk of never broadening our own experience.

One of the best things about your posts (IMO) is that you are obviously an intelligent woman, and you aren't just posting random crap that you've heard somewhere. It's based on experience and research. You read, you examine, and your posts are challenging to me, and I enjoy that.

So, post away and I'll do the same.

I am by no means offended and that's the great thing about FV we can express ourselves freely. Everyone must understand we all have different views on different things, that's what makes us a unique group and I love everyone

You don't offend me I agree illegal immigration is illegal hence the name, I am all for legal immigration but I am not for illegal immigration.

All I can say is "Bravo"! I just went over and found the thread you are referring to. I don't have time to read the whole thing tonight, but from what I have seen you have written in a very educated way exactly how I feel.
