Whoops...Stayed Up Too Late
Now I'm in for it. I hit the point after which, if I'm still awake, I'm not falling asleep. I hadn't planned on it. I was just about to fall asleep when dd walked into our room...excuse me...sleepwalked into our room, and asked dh and I "Why does Patrick get all the cool rocket games?" and then turned around and went back to bed. Considering the fact we have NO rocket games and I don't even know what a rocket game is, we deducted that she was still sleeping and had a good laugh over that.
Then, we watched a little tv and I took my glasses off and closed my eyes, and just as dh started to snore, ds#2 started to cry for me. I went in and rubbed his back and he went to sleep and then when I climbed back in bed and felt myself starting to drift again, he started to cry again.
Now, everyone is sleeping soundly, but because I passed the point of sleep, I'm awake. I haven't seen 12:56 am in years, and I'm not very happy to be seeing it tonight. At least there is no camp tomorrow!!!My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Wow, lol how I wish that almost 1:00 am was like that for me. That is just when I am hoping to calm down and sleep.
My kids do keep me up sometimes..
Last night my cat ran behind a picture above our headboard and knocked it on dh's head along with his ice cream bowl and spoon. He never woke up! Wish I could fall asleep and stay asleep that easily.
I really hate when I am passed that point of sleep. It seems I get more insomnia just thinking about insomnia.

I *was* in bed... but I can't sleep either. It's too late to do very much... I don't want to wake anyone up. So... here I sit.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I should so be in bed, lol. I have to get up at 6 am and it's 1:45am. Oh well, it's a holiday so I don't have to do anything strenuous. The only reason I was getting up at 6 is to go pick up the smoked ribs I have ordered for today.

Update: So, Matty was pretty much up all night, off and on. He didn't fall asleep for good until 3:47 (last time I looked at the clock) and then he was up for good at 5:13. I'm zonkered.
For those of you who are insomniacs...I am so sorry.

I'm always that way! My DH works for the railroad, so his hours vary from day to day! My sleep schedule is totally off whack! I could fall asleep at around 10 pm and he could get called to work at midnight, so I am up and wide awake for way too many more hours!!!

LOL @ your daughter's sleepwalking and dreaming.
Too cute.
I've had this happen over the years when one of the family wakes me up and I can't go back to sleep. It's so annoying. And then by 12:00 pm the next day I can't keep my eyes open.
Hope you catch up on that sleep Amy.
