    Default Woowhoo!!

Don'tcha just love it when a frugal plan comes together. We recycled and cut down a shelf from our kitchen remodel and putting it in another area of the kitchen to be used for grocery items. The shelf was free, the paint is leftover from doing the cabinets as well as the molding my husband put across the top. I'm using a table cloth I found on clearance and cutting it down for a curtain for the front that I gave $4.00 for. Lots of extra material for chair cushions. I got an inexpensive curtain rod and some shelf liner so the paint won't get scratched up on the shelf so I'm only out about $11.00 for the whole project and I've got tons of storage space.

Great. Sounds like some great frugal resourcefulness going on there.

Thanks all. I've just got the curtain made and then I have to iron it. I'm taking a few minutes break. I've got another smaller curtain I need to make for the entertainment center too. A whole $2.00 worth of material for it.

How nice! Wish you could show us a pic but I know everyone doesn't have a digital camera. Enjoy!

Oh I enjoy watching those home improvment shows but cringe as they are gutting & ruin perfectly good cabinets & such. They are getting more "green" about it though. Finally. I hate waste.
