Simply Sunday 7/6
Alright ladies and gents whats on the agenda today???
For me I need to wander away from the net in a few minutes again and do some other things.
I plan on cooking several things for the upcoming week and getting some yard work done along with lundry, general cleaning, and some more goof-off time thrown in.
So far I've---
- goofed-off at the Village
- baked 3 batches of muffins with fresh berries in them
- started laundry
- delt with the dogs
Plan to---
- start some sauce
- make up some blueberry and some blackberry waffles for the freezer
- get the lawn mowed
- weed the flowerbeds
- get DH to weedwack
- go through the computer games and encourage consolidation and/or parting with a few
- defrost and start marinading some chicken for this week
- make dinnner
- cook up meatballs for peatball parm. subs later this week
- and then go wherever the kitchen takes me.
Of coarse I'll be poppin back in here as well.
Enjoy the day!

Looks like another rainy day here. I'm going to finish painting the hallway. It's been primed for 2 years and I've spent the past 2 days painting the trim and stairs, today is color!!!!
DH had band rehersal later today, so I'll probably watch some DVDs, read and maybe bake some cupcakes if I can find something else to go in the oven with them.

DH and I spent all day yesterday doing errands. Based around the fact that his prescriptions were running out, we decided to get a bunch of other running done for the sake of gas usage.
We were both SOOO tired last night! And dehydrated! Couldn't get enough water when we got home---forgot to take some on the trip.
So, I wake up to DH making a fuss out in the kitchen, and wouldn't ya know--doggie stepped in his own doo and brought it in. YUCK!
So, I send poor tried DH back to bed (he doesn't sleep well, and men don't seem to have any patience or stomach for such things! Tsk!!) and clean the mess up.
Nice wake-up call. Luckily it's mostly wood floors.
So now I'm gonna mess around on FV, have my coffee
and try to wake up fully.
Then, I'm going to <knit knit knit> all day!

(except for making meals). I have several things I wanna make for Christmas gifts (why do I KNOW I'll be sitting there knitting something on Christmas eve night?) and several experimental projects I'm dying to do. Plus the blankies I make for linus project. My thumbs are starting to get arthritic, and I find myself having to take a lot of Ibuprofen these days......

Today DS1 and I will....
-tighten the blade on the mower and finish mowing the grass
-finish cleaning up the flowerbeds and planting more perennials (free from a co-worker with tons of flowers - yay!)
-marinate some chicken to put on the grill tomorrow night
-make brownies
-finally get the LAST of the boxes from our move unpacked and sorted out (that's pretty much an all day job - they're all in the living room and we can't move around in here!)
-list anything possible out of the boxes on Ebay
-laundry
-try to figure out how to handle the bills I need to pay until ex decides to send the child support, since he forgot to send it before taking off on a trip to Disney with DS2. (Ebay helps...but it takes some time for the money to come in!)
Also going to:
-deep clean the living room (once all the boxes are unpacked and taken out of here!) including dusting the ceiling, cleaning the baseboards, etc.
-putting up more decor items, since I've been asked to post pics of my house and my 'country store explosion' style of decor!

Today we are going to the grandparents for a bbq get together. I'd like to try to get some laundry done while the weather is nice. And ds has decided he wants to rearrange his room. And since he's only 6, he needs help. Thankfully he did an awesome job cleaning his room this morning so rearranging this afternoon should be a breeze.
I'm not ready for this long weekend to be over.
On a positive note: Only three more days until CRUE FEST
