Would you rather? 7/8/08
Todays question is.....
Would you rather be the world's expert in one field but totally clueless about nearly everything else or have slightly less then average knowledge in all subjects.
I forgot to mention in yesterdays game that answers like neither or I don't know do not count. This is an either or game , no other options.

I want to be a total expert on how to hire experts for everything else.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I am going to pick Expert in one subject. Think of all the worlds geniuses. Typically they are clueless about general life but brilliant in other was that lead to some of our worlds greatest inventions.

I'd rather know a little about everything. I like to be able to intelligently discuss a multitude of topics and be able to get through any situation. If I only knew one thing, then I think my world would be a lot smaller.

Expert--that could make me rich. Being somewhat knowledgeable in many subjects will most likely not.

I also would rather have a little knowledge of everything. I think that if I was only an expert in one subject, but knew nothing about anything else I would be very very lonely. The only people I would have anything in common with would be those that knew about the same subject as me. If I knew a little about everything, I could easily talk to anyone about anything. Plus, I might be more useful, having knowledge of a variety of subjects.

I want to know a bit of everything. Some of those "geniouses' had pretty lousy social lives. They were admired for one thing usually.
