    Default Pet food recalls

Have there been any recent recalls??...We bought a bag of Diamond all natural Lamb and rice for older dogs and all three have diarrhea...I googled Diamond and found out they were part of the last recall...I went in the FDA site and didn't see any thing....Anyone hear anything???...I think I am going to call the vet and ask...

I searched around but didn't see anything about recent pet food recalls.

I DO know that I give my dogs a different brand of lamb and rice and week before last they both had diarrhea. Now, a friend at the dog park told me that there is a dog flu going around ~ I have no idea if that's reliable or not. My dogs were fine within 2 days so I just chalked it up to one of those things ~ eating something they shouldn't, etc.

Please call the vet. I lost my cat, Cooper, to the food recall a year ago. He died a long slow death and we had no idea until finally his liver failed completely and he had to be put to sleep. Since then I have only purchased Purina food for both my cats and dog. They mean more to me than saving a few bucks.

I called the vet and they said that most likely we switched foods on them too fast and it upset their digestive system...they told me to cook some rice and ground beef(which I did) and give them only that for 3 days..then mix some dog food with it gradually til we get them back on the dog food....We will be putting them back on Pedigree, which they have been on for years with no problems...This scared me enough, they are my babies

I haven't heard of any recalls either. My DH works in the dog food manufacturing business so we usually hear pretty quick about any recalls.

I hope your animals are ok. Hopefully it is just what the vet suggested.
