Sara N.... question?
I was just curious how much time you are on here, kinda a "spin off" if you will, of the forum thread.

Or if we want to be REALLY freakin nosey and you feel like answering...

What does a "normal" day look like for you?
Any interesting or weird gossipy things about yourself to share?
Curiosity is just KILLING me.

Ummmm..... WOW! I continue to be amazed at the openness and "realness" of this site. I had never seen that particular post before and am honestly kind of misty eyed. THANK-YOU so much for creating such a wonderful, unique place.

Thanks for posting that Gabe. So many people don't know the history or Sara's vision of/for FV. I've been here since 2002 and watching how things have changed & grown and to have been a part of what it was and where it's going means alot to me too or I wouldn't be here. Not just about empowering women ( SO glad more guys are posting now
)it's about empowering us all to to share and learn & be the best we can be. Knowledge is power & when we all share...Wow, it's good stuff.
Thanks guys!
Oh a funny. Before I really got into fv & became a mod & got to know Sara, I likened her to the "man behind the curtain" like in wizard of oz, really, lmao. Let me tell ya, she's just like the rest of us (yes, I'm "normal"), lol & I'm glad to call her my friend.

Wow. She really is one amazing, determined, and compassionate woman.
I love to hear real life stories, in fact Sara and her story of her beginnning somewhat reminds me of Amy D.

I'm not even sure how to reply. LOL
FV is like an extension of my home in some ways. It's open and on my computer 24/7.
I'll probably open a forum for FV supporters where I'll share more. Basically, a behind the scenes look at what I'm/it's like. Not sure anyone cares. My way of thanking (or punishing) supporters. LMAO
The absolute hardest thing in my life is balancing work with family. My personal drive in my career is strong, but my responsibility to my family is my priority. That's a given, but I struggle with that each and every day. I could literally work 24/7. I sleep about 4 hours a night. I typically don't sleep at all the night before my weekly column deadline. That's tonight by the way. LOL I have two more articles to write by tomorrow. It's incredibly stressful and every week I think this will be the week I don't make my deadline.
As for juicy gossip, I'm probably not the best person to ask. LOL But I bet some of it is true. I turn off all the noise. It bugs me for a bit and then I just don't care. I know what is true and that's all that matters. I wish I could say it doesn't bother me at all, but it bothers me less and less. That's just part of putting myself out there.
I can assure you there's absolutely nothing interesting about me. I don't even drink. Seriously, ask around. LOL
I don't even have a hidden talent. LOL Not even the cherry stem. I remember when Sara posted this originally and was just as impressed with both the writing and the story then as I am today. I, like Darlene, feel lucky to be a longtime member of the village, as it has enriched my life in so many ways, and I consider myself luckier to call Sara a friend.

Sara,
I'm sure that's bull butter! You are a very interesting person to alot of people, especially FV members and as you know alot of us have been members for a long time! FV has come so far and so have you.
therefore, You ARE interesting. You may not think so, but look at the web world you have created out of your head! You make it interesting, you make it available, and this is all because you yourself are an interesting intelligent person.
Dont feel bad, I cant tie a cherry stem either, and Ive been working in bars for years. I cant even roll my tounge to make a purr sound or whistle. LOLLast edited by JustMegan79; 07-08-2008 at 08:50 PM. Reason: Edited due to post-op meds interfering with my motor skills
