    Default Pell Grants

I know that a pell grant is one that you don't have to pay back and I've applied for one a few weeks ago, but what other types of grants/financial assistance is out there? I tried looking it up online and seems that all I get are sites where you have to send in $39.95 for the information. Grrrrrr..... I know that I'll be going full time and will probably end up working the rest of the time..... any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Debbie in Missouri

Pell Grants are for the very poor. For a family of 4 the income guidlines are $25,000 a yr. Crazy
There are state grants. They must be used in the state you live in. They are not transfereble to another state.
Go to the colleges website, the financial aid part and that should lead you to where you want to go. If not call the college itself

well, right now the income is zero..... so I'm hoping I have a shot. I'll go try the school's site and check.

I know where I live the local library has books in it's reference section that has a list of scholarships and grants. They are for certain schools, others are for field of studie, others are for your nationality ect. This might be a place to look. The only negative is that most students have already filled out for these. College kids do them starting in Feb. for the following year.

    Good Luck to you!
