The Prodigal Returns
Hi all! It's been a little while (3 years!?!!) so I thought I'd re-introduce myself. It helped that I received a friendly little reminder about this site! Anywho, here goes...
My name is Dianne and I discovered Frugal Village while browsing for recipes one day. Let's just say that I am a proponent of getting my money's worth so I stuck around and explored the site. I had posted on a site similar to this one before and really enjoyed doing so.
As to contributions to what's going on around here...Well, hopefully, I can contribute a few recipes, a few laughs, a lot of prayers, and a few ideas. I don't know 'ary a soul here so let me introduce myself.
I have two boys -- ages 27 and 19. The oldest has blessed me with 3 gks - 1 boy and 2 girls, ages 7, 5, and 4. They are my heart.
I am soon to be 49 (August 11)
and have been married to my wonderful dh, Chris, for 30 years. I am currently teaching 8th and 9th grade SPED students in Meridian, MS. However, I live in the little community of Damascus in Kemper County, Mississippi. We are active members of a wonderful little church...Union Baptist Church, aka the friendliest church in Kemper County.
We have 2 cats, 10 dogs (puppies), 6 ducks, about 50-80 guineas, 150 or so chickens, and 30 goats. Truly McDonald's Farm!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, word games, flea markets, and trying out new recipes. Occasionally, we will take in a movie or eat out, but not much.
There ya' go! I took the liberty of copy and paste so I wouldn't forget something. Pleased to be here and hope to "meet" ya'll soon!
Be Blessed!
Di
