My Intro...
Hey... my name is Pennie and I'm new here (hence why I'm making a thread on this post, lol). I'm a 25 year old mother of two little girls. Micaela is 4 (5 in August), and Kayman is 2.5. Micaela will be starting kindergarten in September. I'm married to the most wonderful man/father you could ever find. We just got married on June 28th of this year. We own our home, but we are about $40,000 (not counting the house) in debt. This includes credit cards, loans at the bank, student loans, medical bills, other unpaid bills, and money to our parents. I was introduced to this site from a friend of mine on a different blog site. I recently decided that I'm ready to go back to school. I want to do this with a payment plan as opposed to another student loan... I don't want to add anymore debt, even if it's considered *good* debt. No debt is good debt. But this would be an extra $600-650/month, so we do need to figure out where we are wasting money, what to cut back on, and how to make it work on top of paying our other bills. We recently fell severely behind on our house payment because of the wedding. We had to borrow more money from Andy's parents to avoid foreclosure. Any tips anyone has to offer would be amazing. Thank you!!
