    Smile Joining in the fun

    Hello everyone! I've been lurking off and on for quite some time and decided it was time to just jump in and join the excitement.

    How did you hear about frugal village? Reading a frugal blog and looking for forums relating to similar issues.

    What interests you here? I started a vegetable garden for the first time this year and I am interested in learning what to do and what not to do for continued success. Also the family atmosphere here interests me along with all the great information all of you have been providing on various topics.

    What will you contribute? Anything relating to cooking, gardening, hobbies and learning how to live a little greener, cleaner, and just simply live free of stress and debt. If I can help anyone with anything I may know or have experienced than I am more than willing to share.

    Do you know any other members here? I've stalked the site long enough to feel like I do but I do not lol.

    How many kids? Ages? Son - almost 11 (next week)

    Tell us about yourself. We are just an average frugal (read - cheap) country family just trying to make it like everyone else. We live well beneath our means and try to live as simply as we can. Myself, I love to read, I'm a total book nerd. Cooking is my true passion and I had the pleasure of working in the cooking field before I decided to stay at home and raise our son.

    Do you own any pets? 1 dog - Lucy 2, cats - Missy and Miss Calico and a tankful of fish. Oh and several outdoor kitties that seem to like us.

    Occupation? Lol my job is wife and mom. I should be paid! Hubby is a mechanic.

    Married or single? Married 10 yrs now. Been together 12.

    Interests and hobbies? Cooking, Reading, Movies, Bike riding, Walking, going to the beach, Fishing, Gardening, Camping....the list goes on.
