When I drive the way I use to, like about 5 miles over the speed limit out of town, I would fill up my car 6 times a month, with all the driving I do.
Now, I fill up 4 times a month. Course, the longest stretch constriction ... err, construction zone this side of the Mississippi ... helps.
With gas at about $4.10 a gallon, assuming I put in 10 gallons, that's about $41 a pop. So, now that I'm fulling up 2 times less, I figure I'm saving about
$82 a month in gas money!
That's gone to paying down my bills, and will, hopefully soon, start building up the new car fund.
