    Default Plans for today 7/16?

I don't have anything that HAS to get done today. The kids are going to paint the paper mache heads they made yesterday. I need to get some stuff that they can use for hair, eyes (or think of something to recycle)....maybe brown construction paper.
Then the oldest has a Soccer game tonight. It is supposed to be warm (80s) so we may play in the backyard with some water.

Moonmommy...I just have to say I love your avatar pic! My kids used to have a cat that looked just like that! They named him Thunder Chicken! I miss that cat!

Ok, sorry! We don't have much that has to get done today either. I need to pick up the house, unload the dishwasher and vaccuum up dog hair. But that is about it. We have the neighbors baby here, so the kids will be playing with her.

It's gonna be hot here today too, but I think we are still going to try to get out in the yard and get some things done. The kids want to play with their splashblaster rocket thing that grandma gave them and I need to weed some of my flower beds. I should mow, but it's gonna be way too hot, so I might do that tonight!

So, we'll just be hanging around the house today, bummin' around and getting some sun!

Today I need to find a ride out to Walmart to pick up my new TV.

Ordered it from Walmart online and had it shipped to the store.

I'd ride the bus out but no way I can carry and 20" TV [or maybe it's 19"? Can't remember. ]

Still, can't carry it home on the city trolley.

    Love,

    Jen

    "Thunder Chicken"--- Cool kids, Momto2boyz!

We have to go 'to town' today, for prescriptions, and a few foodstuffs.

We are in a quandry how much stuff to get, especially perishables, because in the past week, DH's parents have both gotten much worse at home (6 hours from here). His mom has an arrythmia of the heart and now they've found a leaky mitral valve. She is having a pacemaker put in, but if she has to have open heart surg. for the valve, we are packing and going home.

His dad was doing great in the nursing home, but then vomited, aspirated, and has pneumonia---for about the 7th time this year. No kidding. This guy has been through a lot this year. AND he has some other infections and is running a temp of 103. So if HE takes a turn.....we are out'o'here too.

I must get only canned and frozen stuff, cause we don't know when we'd be back, if we gotta leave.

So far I've showered, done dishes, cleaned the countertops, made breakfast, and washed clothes.

    Left to do:

    get DD a bath
put on makeup and fix hair
go through grocery receipts - add up new totals
    fix supper
    church at 7:00

No too rough of a day!

My mom just picked up DD. She has her yearly post-braces orthodontic appointment then her final appointment with her plastic surgeon. One last check to make sure she is totally healed from her breast reduction.

DH, DS and DD have three yards to cut this afternoon. I will use that time to pick up around the house.

I need to go to the post office and mail a b-day card.

This is one of those rare days when we have no baseball, no volleyball, no football, no basketball, no private lessons, no practice...I should be thankful, but I am actually a little bored.

Well, I have dinner started, clothes on the line, and the kids down for a nap. Usually they don't nap, but since it will be a late night for the 6 year old and it was an early morning, then nighty night they go. Next is the dishes. YUCK. I hated doing dishes.

I'm just kind of hanging around today. I have some things I need to do. Clean the dishes, take a shower, pick up the living room. Later I have to get dinner going too. I was hoping my friend would come over but I haven't heard from her.
