    Talking The house all to myself?!?!

    Hubby took the kids fishing today about an hour away, and I found myself home alone!!! That almost never happens, LOL! I packed them a big cooler of food and drinks, blankets, jackets, sunscreen, and off they went for the day. First thing I did was started singing, ZIPPITY DO DA, ZIPPITY DAY!! I can do whatever I want, this is my day! I'm lovin' this because I never get a day all to myself!!!!

    What do you do when you have a day to yourself?

    Wow.... enjoy!

    I can't answer, your question, really, because I've never had a day like that. I've gotten a few hours here and there, though, and I've used them to eat exactly what I want for lunch(no whining from the rest of 'em), read, do crafts, or whatever else I feel like doing. I've also done some closet cleaning.... but that was a planned thing, DH taking the kids out so I could get it done.

    A WHOLE day...like a real WHOLE day??? Can't remember the last time I had the whole day to myself. I'd probably be so lost I'd clean. What a waste that would be. I better plan options in case that happens...someday.

    ......just remebered....probably the last time I had a whole day to myself was back in the fall of 1999 when DH tok the boys to see his parents in Florida while he was off work injured.

    Well, I rarely get a day to myself, since I'm a single mom and the kids' dad lives in another state - so no "every other weekend" for me. But that's ok - I just treasure any alone time I get all the more!

    I usually clean house - isn't that sad? But I get a HUGE sense of satisfaction from looking at my clean house and watching it STAY CLEAN for at least a short period of time!
