Would you describe yourself as an extrovert or an introvert?
Introvert. I enjoy my own company and being at home.

Interesting question, as is my answer:
I used to be a total extrovert (cheerleader......you know the type)
But as I;ve gotten older, I have begun to enjoy my own company much more...

I'm rather strange (Or very strange, depending on who you talk to
) , in that I am very much a people person and enjoy talking to and learning about others. I really think people are interesting. OTOH, I am very much a homebody and prefer staying home to going to parties or places with lots of people. I much prefer meeting people on a one on one basis.

Biologically, I'm an introvert. In my career, however, it really helps to be, if not an extravert, at least an ambivert. By the time I get home in the late afternoons after 8 hours of being outgoing and social, I'm exhausted!

Not sure. Is there a middle ground? I like going out and being around people ( adults ) and am with kids all day. So the minutes I have free and alone I dont mind being alone, but always think I want to go be with friends. Weird huh? So not sure what I am.

I'm very introverted except around my family where I can be an obnoxious extrovert. Being around people I don't know makes me really uncomfortable and wears me out.

I'm very much the introvert. I prefer quiet, calm, and my own company. I'm friendly enough I guess, but I don't do large groups of people - whether I know them or not. It's always made me very anxious.

Yes. Introversion/Extraversion is normally distributed -- think of an inverted bell curve. The majority of people are ambiverts -- just like the majority of people are of average intelligence. Relatively few people fall at either end of the continuum -- introversion or extraversion, or severe mental retardation or genius. Is there a middle ground?

One of the (several) times I had to do the little short Myers-Briggs at a workshop I scored 0 on extroversion. The leaders had never actually seen a 0 score before. Actually, I usually score a few point for extroversion. Like most very introverted people, I have had to learn extroversion skills to slide through daily life. But being around people, even people I like and enjoy can really wear me out. I go home, shut the door ..... ahhhhhhh!!! Silence and solitude.

I can be outgoing if I NEED to be (for work mainly) - but the personal preference is introvert. I'm quite happy with my own company. I was an only child so I've learned to be content with myself.
