I got a job!!!
And I wasn't really even looking for one!!! We have a local Parks & Recreation department that offers various enrichment classes for all ages. A catalog of classes comes out twice a year.
DH came up with the idea that I should submit a proposal for a beginners quilting class. So I developed a pattern and submitted it. I talked to the director and she is trying to come up with more programs for Youth ~ so in addition to the quilting class that's being offered TWICE in this session, I'll also be teaching preteens to make their own pillowcases in THREE classes!
When its all said and done, I'll be teaching 4 (6 hour) days for the quilting class and 3 (3 hour) days for the pillowcase class. This is between now and March. And she wants me to develop some more classes to offer next summer.
I'm so excited!!!!~Jessica

That's really cool! So is this like an actual give you an income class or is it more of a volunteer thing?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

That's wonderful! Good for you.
