    Thumbs down DH got into an accident at work.

    Luckily, no one was hurt. But it stinks, because it still goes on his work record, and even his bosses said there was nothing he could do to prevent it.

    He was on the side of the road collecting someone's recycling (busiest street in town), and a mother and teenage daughter pulled up behind him and stopped to wait for him for him to collect his stuff and move on. Well, an 18 year old boy came toodling down the road and never even hit the brakes. Slammed into the back of the ladies car and pushed the hood of their car completely underneat the garbage truck. Dh said, everyone was really, really lucky.

    BUt it stinks, becuase now, he may have to go back to safety school and there was nothing he could have done to prevent it.

    Hopefully it is clearly state that he held no responsibilty for this and there was no way he could have prevented it. Crazy and unfair, sure glad everyone is o.k..

    Darn shame. Someone else causes the accident and he gets punished. Glad he's okay, sorry it happened.

    I'm glad no one was hurt. That is so unfair it goes on his work record though. Thats how is is with dh in his semi also. So not right.

    It's great that no one was hurt but ridiculous that he may have to go to safety school when SOMEONE ELSE HIT HIM. It's like saying it's your fault if someone hits your car when it's parked in your driveway.

    That seems really strange to me that he'd have to go to safety school when his truck wasn't even at fault. I'd check that out to be sure. I"m glad no one was hurt in the incident though.
