What a week and it's only Wednesday!! (Just venting)

As most of you know it started on Sunday night, when we found head lice on my step daughter. So that kick started the 30 loads of laundry done in 2 days, the massive amounts of vaccuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, etc, etc, ( I did some major spring/summer cleaning).

I'll move onto last night. Head lice is gone!! A friend of mine is over and we decided to play a game of KISMET (it is sort of like Yatazee), we didn't get 1/2 a game done and my son (2 years) falls, gets his left ring finger caught in his Spiderman folding chair!!

So, off to the ER we go. He had X-rays done, no broken bones, no fractures. The pressure of his weight (38 lbs) when he fell and pinched his finger caused it to slice all the way through his finger nail!! He is currently walking around the house with his finger wrapped up, we will go to see the doctor again tomorrow just to check everything out. He will most likely lose the top half of his finger nail within the next couple of weeks!!

He is doing rather well, just babying that finger. It was just last August that he dropped an engine block on his big toes and smashed that!! That toe nail still hasn't grown back correctly, it will probably be a few years for that to grow in right!! His toe nail split vertical and his finger nail was sliced horizontal (sp)!!

Then to top it all off I get a bloody nose at work today. I haven't had one of those in about 10 years!! So all in I have had a pretty crappy week, and I still have to get through the next few days!!

I think the stress of everything is getting to you. I hope you find some time to relax and get some down time just for you.

Wow can you say stress??? You poor thing....just take a moment to breathe in and out deeply and to be able to regroup yourself. Things will get better

Ouch! Hope it evens out for you for the rest of the week. Glad the little critter problem has gone and very glad no fingers were broken. Go take a loooooooonnnnnnnggggg bubble bath with a good book and relax a little.
