What Have You Done Today?
Wow what a day...I have been up early - well slept in a lil - and been on the run since! I logged onto the village but got pulled away.
So far I have: showered, done the breakky & lunch dishes, washed a load of towels and then a load of regular clothes - hung outside on the clothesine to boot!, cleaned bathroom, took out garbage and recycling, gathered up 3 shopping bags of clothes for donation and painfull forced myself to toss 1 bag into the garbage - not donation worthy, did some banking, reserached a few potential things to do when family comes to visit next month, folded and put away some of the laundry, watched "Say Anything" (recorded it from this am), picked a few more bionic cuc's and now I have finally come back to the computer and let me tell you - I am POOPED!
The vaccuming can wait for tomorrow!
I just had a naughty snack - some chips! Yum!! I think I will surf the village and then try to clear off the computer desk aka catch all before dinner and heading out tonight.
So what have y'all done today?2012: The Year Of The Purge!

You have been busy.
Burned the trash that is not recyclable.
Make a phone call to return some shoes that are 2 different widths and exchange for the right one. (Will do this tomorrow)
Vacuum half of the house
Watch dh start to dig out whats left of a stump on the new garden area.
Got ds to put up the dishes he did not do last night.
Take a nap.
Water the plants on the back porch This will be done this evening.
To darn hot to be outside right now.
I have been lazy today.

Ran on the treadmill!
Watched a movie!!! LOL
And have been searching for low carb recipes and playing with the puppies!
Hopefully tomorrow will be more of a productive day for me...

Thus far, I don't feel like I've been very productive. So far it's been:
Got up, made coffee and showered.
Washed dishes while I drank my coffee.
Logged on here for a little while.
Went outside with dh and found 6 baby guineas running around that we didn't know about.
Went to get feed with dh.
Stopped at 3 yard sales on the way back and racked up on bargains.
Went to reservoir with dh to support son while gks visited with their mother there. (that's another story)
Came home and sorted 6 gallons of habaneros and jalapenos, washed them, and decapped them for freezer and canning.
Right now, I'm sitting on my hiney chatting when I should be fixing egg custard, pound cake, and supper.
Gonna vacuum house before I go to bed.

Ummm...I wasnt near as productive as any of you! I got up and showered. Did dishes and repackaged some ground beef we bought in huge packages last night to smaller meal size ones. Watched our *town days* parade in the rain.... took my son to work and stopped to pick up frutopia jugs of juice that were on sales for 98 cents from $3.49. Then I made spanish rice dish for dinner and sat in front of the tv until I came here!!

I thought I'd had a productive day... until I read this thread. Holy cow, some of you have been busy.
Today I have:
-Prepared and cleaned up breakfast and lunch
-Laid things out for supper
-Made bread dough (still rising but we'll have some with supper)
-1 load of laundry, hung on the line by my dc
-put away laundry washed earlier in the week (my one messy weakness... I HATE putting away laundry)
-swept and mopped the kitchen floor
-checked prices on ebay for a skillet and a waffle maker
-found recipe online for strawberry syrup as they were on sale very cheap
-read some paid emails and took a paid survey
-goofed off online for a while
-started reading a new book
-stopped in on my parents and younger brother for a visit
hmm... seeing it in a list like that makes me feel better, I did more today than I thought

I went to work, went to the grocery store, and called my Mother. That's enough in one day for anyone. LOL!

So far today we have picked up some stuff from a free-cycle person, hit 4 garage sales, made a delivery (for my biz), stopped to talk to In-Laws about them buying chickens and us raising them, made supper, washed dishes, fed 2 dogs, fed cat, fed fish, posted on here. It feels like I did more. Oh well.

Ugh, had an awful day today- as described in other thread. But we did manage to mop floors twice ( we've got 5-week-old puggle puppies, 6 of them YIKES!) vaccuum hall and l-room, straighten tv room and l-room, make bed and load dishwasher before my parents came by. And now I'm at work and my b/f is home doing laundry, shopping and finishing the vaccuuming.

I was hoping to have a much more productive day than I did, but tomorrow's another day.
Today:
-Up at 5:00 a.m. to take DS16 to work (same routine tomorrow and most of next week)
-Back home, watched the news, took care of a few things on the computer, showered, & got ready for the day
-Got mail, off to town to cash DS16's first official paycheck (yay!) and run some errands
-Picked up school supplies (enough for both kids for most of the school year for $22), a few grocery items, and a few bargains at Rite Aid
-Stopped at a used bookstore and splurged on a couple of books
-Back home, chatted with DS16 and did a few listings on Ebay, did a load of dishes in the dishwasher, then back out to a sporting goods shop to get his bow checked out, stopped at a local pawn/used goods shop where he bought ANOTHER bow (can't complain much, he got an excellent deal!)
-Took DS16 fishing at a relative's house (they have a nice pond). Back home at 9:00 and off to bed soon, since I have to be up at 5:00 again tomorrow to take DS back to work.

DH let me sleep in until 11 (bless his heart!) and the jist of what I did doesn't even compare:
Made coffee
Checked the FV boards
Made lunch
Helped DH with the bathtub faucet
Found out that WD-40 gets crayon off my walls
Mowed the front, side and back yards
Put down peat moss where the old shopping cart used to sit
Showered
Replaced the old power strip (the old power strip stopped working in the midst of making lunch)
Ordered dinner (was too tired to cook)
I did all my laundry mid-week to pack DS #2's bag (he's at my inlaws right now until Wednesday), and I'm not worried about dishes until tomorrow. Tomorrow is recycling day and bottle return day, plus vacuuming and cleaning more crayon off the walls with the WD-40.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!
