Need good thoughts!
I went to register for my classes today - the first opportunity available to me- and found 2 of the classes closed! Grrr! That was bad enough but to make things worse, I thought I had completed everything for admission, but found out I was about 36 hours late with an e-mail checklist which I need to get in the program. So now, I am less than 2 weeks from the end of my job, don't yet have another and might not get into school.
I have to call Monday and plead my case to see if I can get in.
I need every good thought you can spare to get me through the weekend and luck to get in this program.
Help!

Goodluck I will be praying for both of you. Hopefully some openings in the class. Make sure if you can get registered to go and try and add in person. Some people overbook and then do not show up, or are still in the process of trying to add some other class themselves.

I don't want to jinx anything, but it looks like things might be OK as far as school goes. I finally got through to an actual person. This college has voice mail or online services for everything, which is fine, but can only help you so much. There are times when you need to talk to a real person. *rant* LOL ANyway, I got through to the program chair and found out I have to take a math placement test. YIKES!! I am so terrible at math! But my credit didn't transfer, so I have to score a 55 to get into the program or I will have to take a prep math and the pre-program classes this semester- if I can get in them! Most I have tried to register for are closed. GRRRRR! But she assured me all would be fine and if I took the math prep, I could get in the program in the spring.
So, small exhale, but still holding my breath through the testing and registration process- which have to be done this week.

baby, I had to take three semesters of "idiot math."
I graduated in a reasonable amount of time.
Yeah! for non traditional students.

No, no more journalism. I was a reporter fro three years and a copy editor for 8 without the benefit of a j-school degree. Now is the time to get out- too many newspapers slashing staff because.
My major is health information technology. And I am somewhat happy to say that I have registered for 4 classes for a total of 13 credit hours, thus making me a full-time student! hehehe
My math test is Thursday, I'll let you all know how it goes!

It sounds like you are getting things squared away and will be starting school soon. I am glad you found some open classes that you could register for.
Good luck on you math test!~*Michelle*~

I'm sure you'll do fine! I'm all nervous, my interview is tomorrow at 10am. He called to say the Culinary teacher won't be there but will talk to me later on. Now class is suppose to start the 14th. He told me to bring a copy of my diploma, (is a transcript the same thing? It shows I graduated and my credit hours), and all my financial information so I can go ahead and register and he's going to make a revision to my pell grant application. Am I silly to think its odd to go thru all that if I won't have the job???
Good Luck!
