new from Rocky Mountain High
How did you hear about frugal village?
A Web search at work!
What interests you here?
I'm an anti-materialist with a passion for comfort. Bad combination, sometimes. I'm also a greenie.
What will you contribute?
letters in strings. Some will be funny, some helpful. I hope most will be entertaining.
I have some areas of expertise (I've already posted in vegetarian related threads) and I like to share, bounce ideas and generally laugh.
Do you know any other members here?
I see a couple names that I think I recognize, but no one for sure. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.
How many kids? Ages? one 16 yo son, Arlo, lives with dad a few states away.
Tell us about yourself.
writer, artist, music producer. I work too much and play too hard, and often they are the same.
I missed coming to Colorado in my 27th year by a few months, but I made up for it by falling in love with a location for the first time in my life. I love folk music. I love the Grateful Dead. My art is in recording studios in Utah. I'm vegetarian for 28 years. I love Indian foods, Ethiopian foods, and creating meals to share, but I'll reheat brown rice with Earth Balance and salt for a week on my own. Jewish with a mystical streak. proud member of the proletariat. I consider being called a pinko commie a bit of a badge of honor.
Do you own any pets? no, but one owns my sweetie and I. Kesey, named for the writer/ Merry Prankster Ken Kesey (one flew over the cuckoo's nest, Sometimes a strange notion), with whom I share a natal day. The previous cat was Prankster. I think we have a trend.
Occupation? reporter/ concert producer to pay the bills.
Cosmic creation's midwife by inclination. (no I am not a physical midwife.)
Married or single? partnered. With legal protection. I'm lucky.
Interests and hobbies? life

Thank you, but I don't personally contact editors. My syndicate's sales reps do that. However, individual members here can help their effort by contacting their local managing editors, too.
