    Default getting a bread machine.

my dad bought a bread machine for my birthday. he called my mom's last nite while we were there and both merrick and i talked to him. he said that a package was on its way. i cant wait to get it. i already know that im going to use it alot on the dough setting b/c it will make it easier for me to make the bread we love. im going to have to rearrange in the kitchen again. from my mom i think my gift was some clothes a couple weeks ago. if not then i will find out later on today after we get the paperwork for merrick's birth certificate in. sry for my rambling i havent gone to bed yet.

Very cool! I'm sure you'll really enjoy making bread with that thing. Now where did I see a recipe for bread maching italian bread.....? Doesn't that sound yummy?

I'm acquiring my mother's bread machine next time I am home. I want to start making my own bread. We don't eat enough bread to justify buying a whole loaf b/c it goes bad....so I wanna make my own.

I absolutely love mine, too! I pulled it out of storage this past winter, and what fun I've had! Besides the bread, I have made so many cinnamon rolls and different things using the dough function. I should make some fresh bread today...

Is it cheaper than buying bread? I hear different opinions on that.... and I was just wondering. We do eat a fair amount of bread as both my DH and son will be in school in the fall and taking sandwiches and I love toast!

it hasnt come yet. the bread that i make by hand is usually gone within a few days. so im probbably going to make that alot with the dough funtion. we spent all this afternoon in probate court to file for his birth certificate and it wasnt fun b/c we went near his nap time. not the way i wanted to spend my birthday but in the end it was worth it b/c we will get a confirmation from vital statistics from columbus in a few weeks then we would have to go to dayton's vital statistics office and get it. complicated i know.

I have thought lately about getting one. We don't eat the much bread here though. You'll have to let us know how you like yours.

I too have a bread machine and I like it to set so that it starts to bake early in the morning and we wake to the wonderful smell of bread cooking. I cook a lot of gluten free breads.
    Cheers froggy

Ok.... I hate the kneading part so now I'm wanting one! *lol* I've heard my teacher at school is great with making homemade breads and rolls and I'm looking forward to learning from her. Mmmmmm homemade bread and a big pot of veggie soup sound wonderful right now.
