Yes!!
As you know we are moving and money is tight. Our new place comes with a fridge, so the one we have now needs to go. I was going to try to sell it on craigslist, but it's kind of wonky and I wouldn't get more than $20 for it. Well, my DH found that Edison (elec co) has a recycling program and they will come pick it up and give us $50 for it!! Woo hoo!

Wow thats awesome! Keeps people from just dumping them in a landfill which LOTS of people do AND you get $50!!I must look into that around here....! Glad things are working out on the money end of things for you!

That is great!! I wish our electric company would do something like that here.
Also great that it will be recycled and will stay out of the landfills.
