Grr..online ordering issues...what happened to quick shipping & good customer service
I placed an order at oldnavy.com on August 4th. I just got the shipment notification stating that they shipped it yesterday. It took them 8 days?? And their shipping itself is always slow. At this rate I'll be lucky to have it by the time the kids start school Sept. 3rd. :gah:
Last Thursday I ordered a new laptop from toshibadirect.com. Dave uses them as a vendor at work, and he wanted to order from them. Their site says that they ship out within 24 hrs. As of yesterday, my order still hadn't shown as shipped. I contacted them, and they told me that the laptop is out of stock and won't be shipping until the 17th..."please be advised that this is an estimate and it could ship earlier or later than this date". Well gee, thanks for the information. That was less than helpful. And if I hadn't asked them what was going on, I never would have known. :hopmad:

I'm feeling your Old Navy hate as well. Same situation--and you know what really burns me? Before they started this '4 stores, one shipping' nonsense, I'd always get my orders from Gap and Old Navy 3 days after I ordered because their warehouse is in Ohio. Loved it! Not anymore! I am waiting for a shipping notice for an order I placed Friday, and another order I placed before that took over 8 days.

The same thing happened to me. I placed an order with Amazon on a Sunday and they shipped it on Friday! I have never had Amazon do that before, that I can remember. It took almost two weeks.

that's right. it was way better when Old Navy was acting on their own. I used to get my order within 3-4 days of ordering but now that three stores in one cart? Forget it.....you will not get your order for two weeks. I wished they have the buy it then pick up in store just like Target.

LOL! Surprise!! Well, you just never know when it will arrive.
I am having the same shipping issue with the boy's shoes I ordered a few days ago. They still haven't shipped them. I do not think they will be here in time for school, maybe a few days after school starts but not the beginning.~*Michelle*~

I had the opposite problem, I ordered some things from Fashion Bug, expecting them to take forever to process and ship. We left for vacation the next day and 4 days later the package was delivered. Thank heavens for neighbors!!!!
