And...I'm back!

We're all moved in, and mostly unpacked. It went pretty smoothly. The only bummer was that my bonehead husband was at the house waiting for the fridge guy to show up, and then he left really fast and the guy came and left. I didn't feel like moving a nasty fridge to our new place so he put it on the curb. So, we didn't get our $50 for recycling.

But other than that, it was great! I stayed and unpacked and made pizza while the guys worked, and they got almost everything moved yesterday. There were just a few small things left that DH did himself today. Then as a housewarming present, our friend bought me a bunch of plastic "baskets" to help me organize. If it were up to me, I would just use shoe boxes or something that's free!

The new place is sooo much more roomy and open and I feel so much more comfortable. DS has his own little room now, and so far he's doing pretty well sleeping in it, even without the crib keeping him put! His room has double doors that open into the living room (his room is supposed to be a den) which is soooooo nice because when his toys get everywhere, I can just push them into his room and close the doors and my house actually looks clean! Woo!
