I'll trade you my 106º for your 46º.

I much prefer cool to this crazy heat.

    Wow

I don't really like the heat, but I'd take it over 46º in the summer!

    Hey Missy!

I'm actually enjoying this weather! I'm enjoying the change from all that heat and I love cool weather to begin with. I really love thunder storms and we're having one right now (lots of thunder last night!). A little while ago it even hailed for a few minutes. Keep warm, my friend!

I've had an interesting day along with the weather. My youngest' first day of Kindergarten was today, so I was emotional. Then I get a call from a friend who looked me up, that I worked with like literally 20 years ago in California, and she lives just a few miles away!

46º here is still shorts weather..lol. Considering our winters are COLD, -40º PLUS windchill. So 46º is still balmy. I could live all year between 46-70º and I'd be HAPPY!

That's right! Neither this nor my bronchitis, sinus infection or fluid building in my lungs (fun fun...just a summer cold) can knock me down. (hack, hack, grumble, grumble).

It's surprising though considering we were in the 90's the other day.

I'm in NY, but it hasn't been a whole lot warmer here. I was saying to dh the other night...you know you live too far north when you're wearing wool socks (knitted by me ) & sipping hot chocolate...in AUGUST! It's been downright chilly at night. Brrr!

We're in Montana in the mountains, and I LOVE the cold evenings in the summer! We leave the windows open at night so it cools down our entire house. Then of course in the morning we shut everything up and keep cool in the 90+ degree temps. We have only had to turn our A/C on once this summer! I'm looking forward to fall, though. I love the cooler temps, as well.

I'm in WV and we should be in the low 90's this time of year. It's been in the mid-70's and two different nights it was 40! I love it though! Fall and spring are my two favorite times of year. Nice warm days and cool nights!

In IL we have had beautiful weather - around 80 degrees for the high and 59 at night. Love, love, love it! Wish every August was like this! But they say the heat will be back midweek.....bah humbug!

Supposed to go into the 40's tonight and then the heat will jack up to upper 80's low 90's the rest of the week. It's a wacky world.
    Come on Fall! :fall:
