Summer is officially over for me....
I had to be back at work this morning for staff development. I will be sitting in meetings all week and the kids start back on Monday. It is funny because it feels like we never left for summer break. It is good to see all the new staff. I am hoping for a great school year.

I had to go in today for a meeting, as well, although we don't go back until after Labor Day. 3 PD days and then the kids start. Today's meeting was for two of my positions within the building. Planning meetings, if you will.

Me too. Sigh.
Two days of faculty workshop begin tomorrow, all sorts of welcoming events for students and new faculty, and classes start next Tuesday. At least the first three weeks will be 4-day ones! Oh. I guess I'd better get cracking on those syllabi.

Summer is over for us on Monday...back to college...
