Default Whats everyone doing this weekend.....

Yds and I are having a yard sale Friday and Saturday. I have lots of stuff thats sitting in the garage. September is going to be a tough month with the way we will get paid so I figure if I make some $$$ and get rid of some stuff then thats a good thing.
We put an ad in the paper which was $8 so thats not too bad.
    wish us luck

I have a meeting at church (9am-noon)Saturday. Our church has built a new one and security has changed in the preschool area. I teach 4 & 5 year olds on Sunday mornings.

I'll be resisting the urge to scratch my stitches

DD leaves for her Big Dad's around 3pm on Friday and we will pick her up Monday afternoon on the way back from the hospital.

The Old Man is working Friday & Saturday and will get home around 10pm.

If the weather is nice, we will sit out on the patio. Exciting, I know

I need to come up with 'lunchbox ideas' for DD who goes back on September 4th.

I hate not being able to go out... but, we're saving a lot of money because I can't get to where the goodies are!
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I will be sitting with hundreds of screaming little girls I am taking my dd's (6 and 12) to see the Jonas Brothers saturday night. We have had the tickets since April. ( I know, not the most frugal thing that I have ever done). For some reason I can't get dad to volunteer to take them. hmmm.

Just the same old stuff. If it stops raining I might be able to clean the back porch.

Good luck with the yard sale jamie79.

Well, dd's family just bought a boat and they want us to go out waterskiing with them. At 50, I haven't waterskiied in a good 20 years, but I'm game!!! Otherwise, we will be working in the yard...

:goodluck: with the yard sale, jamie.

Not doing too much...Dave is in Japan (or on his way anyhow), so I need to keep the kids super occupied so they don't miss him so much--actually I probably need to do that more for my sake than theirs LOL

DH has to repair the bike rack on the 5th wheel and spare tire holder and cut the grass.
Sunday we have to pack as we leave for St John Canada early Monday morning.
Going to be a very busy weekend for us. But the day after we get back we leave for a labor day camping trip. Should be a lot of fun and relaxing

Working on the apartments. Again. Just like every weekend, just about...

So getting burnt out on this...
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Hope you get a lot of buyers at your yard sale!

Two of my grandchildren are staying with me this weekend. I might enlist them in some easy tasks in the yard. I hope I can get some items listed on Ebay while they are here. Mainly I want to make sure I enjoy them. They are growing up so fast... it makes me sad.

We are waterproofing and restaining our gazebo on Saturday, after tennis for me, golf for DH. Also burning some brush. On Sunday we are going to church, then in the evening we have a dinner at the Masonic Lodge.

Grocery shopping on Saturday, probably with my little buddy Wesley. He's such a shopper. Need to run to the library, maybe the knitting shop. Working on cleaning out the basement. Very lazy weekend overall.
