Default New to here but not frugality

    Hi everyone!

I discovered this site a couple of weeks back and have been devouring all the different threads!

I'm a 36 year old female who is just burnt out from working and I'm desperately trying to get off of the treadmill...hence, my reason for being frugal. A nasty boss is a great motivator in this regard!

I had gotten serious about paying off my CC debt two years ago and had 6 wonderful months being debt free (except the mortgage) until my furnace konked out. I'm now feverishly working to paying that off. On the one hand, I'm angry at that debt but on the other I'm glad I had buckled down the year before and paid off my CC debt because at least I had available credit to get the new furnace put in.

I'm in the process of building my BEF and I'm at the halfway point in paying off my furnace. I've also started stockpiling again thanks to some wonderful threads here.

I'm looking forward to being a member here! frugal_cavy
