$80. mistake!
Duh . . . I accidentally let my TV converter box coupons expire. I put them away in a safe place when I first got them, thinking I need to wait until February to get the boxes, and didn't look at the expiration date. Well, now I know that you can get the boxes any time, pulled out my coupons and they were expired! I called the 800 number and they cannot be replaced nor the date extended for any reason.

I am so mad at myself . . .
Just wanted to keep anyone else from making the same mistake.

What a bummer! And that is sad that they won't replace them. Is there any way you can get completely new ones? Maybe someone who doesn't need them could order them for you? I dunno. Good luck!

That's such a bummer! We already bought ours, but I realized the cards were about to expire and got the boxes just two days before they did. I don't see why the cards expire at all.

~I anticipated a huge demand for the coupons and a limited supply so I ordered mine as soon as they were available. I had no idea they expired until I pulled them out to use them. Oopps! Luckily my mom had an extra one that was still valid. Ask your friends, co-workers, neighbors, and Freecycle if they have a coupon to spare.~

we got our boxes a few days after we got our coupons. a guy called john matarese has a little segment on our channel 2 called dont waste your money and a few times hes said to use the coupons as soon as u get them. last nite he did a story on the billy mays awsome augger and how this one couple did the bogo free thing and it was like $19.95 for the first one and then they got hit with the hidden fees for shipping hand processing for the second one. all of that cost around $149. luckily they will be getting thier money back.

I don't understand why they are being so stingy when giving out the discount cards. I'm already having problems with reception with the two boxes I bought and now they are over 30 days old so I can't exchange them or return them. Nor can I get 2 more cards at this address. They don't even have all the converter boxes available to choose from.
Everything was working fine and then I began losing reception of almost all the channels at around the same time each night after 11 PM. No idea what is going on but it ticks me off!
I just read also that Canada doesn't have to make the switch to digital tv until 2011! Why the rush here?
What happens if I did buy a digital tv and I begin to have problems with reception on that after 30 days, too?

HandyMom ~ If I understand correctly, come February when things go digital, your problems with reception will be gone and everything will be much better then. Hang in there!
