Weekend Plans?
What's everyone up to this weekend? I am going to be puttering around my house, decluttering, cleaning, etc. On Sunday we have a b-day party for one of the grandkids. Our 16 month old grandson spent the night last night and I think we will be having him for the weekend.

We are going to have a do-nothing weekend. DH has to work tomorrow, due to the holiday on Monday. So tomorrow it'll just be the kids and I. I am without "extra" kids today (no babysitting kids), so I think I will clean up my house today and get everything out of the way.
Tomorrow, I think the kids and I will rent some movies (it looks like it's supposed to be rainy) and have a quiet, relaxing day inside. I do plan on doing some baking, getting some bread baked and cinammon buns ready for Sunday morning, etc.
Then Sunday, I think we are going to hit the Farmer's Market, do some grocery shopping, and just get some yard work done. And that is about it. Nothing special planned, and honeslty, I prefer weekends like this to the busy ones!

My husband has to work all weekend. Again. I'm going to plan on meeting some other Navy mom's next week and we have a doctor's appointment, so I'm going to try to get the kid ahead in her school work. Otherwise, just a regular weekend.

We will be going to the high school football game tonight. DD17 is in the marching band and this is the first home football game. In the morning, we have the Gold Rush Parade at 10. Our town has the Gold Rush Festival every year on the first Saturday in September. Not sure what we'll do after the festival. Hopefully get in some rest and relaxation.

Mmm, Saturday is gym day. Sunday is grocery day. I need to find a way to squeeze in some birthday shopping somehow or I might just wait until Dakota goes back to school on Monday to get it done. I also need to keep at my kitchen and get it organized, clean off the top of the refridgerator and clean out the inside of it. Oooh, I also need to do some recycling and clean up the yard now that it's getting cooler outside.

Well, I have my first sick kid of the school year!
Poor little guy, he is starting to feel a little better now, though. I plan on laying low around the house today and cleaning. At 5:00 tonight is oldest dd soccer practice.
Depending on if my son feels better or not, we may head to town for some garage sales and the farmer's market tomorrow morning. Then tomorrow evening is girls' night out at my friend's house! YIPPEEE!!! I'm looking forward to the break. Sunday we have no plans other than to try a new church.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Today I am really deep cleaning the entire house. DD broke her glasses this morning so DH took her by my mom's office to get her a new pair and some contacts. Then he took her to school.
Tonight we have to pick up DS's football uniform. No big deal really, except he plays for the next city over and it takes thirty minutes to get there. So that will pretty much take up most of our early evening.
After we get home DH or DS can make dinner. I am in a bad mood and really could care less about making anything.
I hope to wake up in time to hit a few yard sales. Around here 7:00 am is peak sale time and it is all over with by 10:00 am.
Tomorrow is DS's football jamboree game. He is so excited for the season to start. He is ready to hit and tackle. He is first string left guard, second string left tackle, first string nose guard, and first string kicker. Basically he is going to pretty much play the entire game.
My mom is going to pick up DD's BFF and bring her to the game. Then she and DD will spend the night at our house. One of DS's teammates is coming home with us after the game and spending the night, too.
Sunday afternoon one of my BFF's sons is having a birthday party so we are going to that. He is one of my favorite kids and I have not seen him in a couple of months so I am excited.
I wish we could fit some home improvement time in over the weekend, but I just don't see it happening.DD (19)

Nothing going on today or tonight. Just putzing around. Saturday kids start bowling in the morning, then head to their dads for the night. I need to order balloons and cake for dd party next weekend. Then hopefully get some relaxing, reading, and down time for myself. Sunday after kids get home, we are headed to my moms house for a little birthday party for me. Then home to shower and get ready for next week. All in all not doing much!

We don't have any big plans here.
My DH is a sports reporter so he will be covering Football tonight and Cross county tomorrow. He may also cover college football on Saturday night. I plan on packing so more and work on pricing more garage sale items. I may go to the cross county meet tomorrow since it is in a town that we like to visit.
On sunday we have church.Julie

We are also going to our first home game of the season tonight, and dd is a freshman and in the marching band...she is a little nervous I think. Before the game we will attend the "kick off party" and eat, yummy. Sunday we have church then dd has softball practice at 1pm.

Tonight, mow the lawn at home. LONG overdue.
Rest of weekend? Working on the renovations again. If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Not much. Yds works at DQ tonight and tomorrow.
Sometime this weekend the lawn will get mowed. It will also get raked.
I might hit a few yard sales on Saturday just to see what I can see.
Other then that not much of anything

If its not raining we'll be headed into the woodlot to start cutting wood for winter. ( Need about 40 cords for 2 stoves )
Also starting to close up the place for winter months.
Also going to take in a movie since we have a weekend alone.
DS is working until next Thursday in Baltimore and his girlfriend is going to her mother's for the weekend after school.

I'm trying my hand at soap-making this weekend, if the weather doesn't get too miserably hot.

Well, I have to work tomorrow (pt job) and ds was supposed to go to karate in the morning, but I now have to drop my car off after work today so that it can be fixed and ready to go monday morning. So, dh will not have his car to bring ds to karate. then ds has a football (flag) game at 2 down the street. It's supposed to rain all weekend, so we will just be hanging out at home.
My car has to be dropped off tonight so they can keep it in the garage since my windows will not go up (it's going to rain for the next 2-3 days) and my jeep keeps thinking all my doors are open, so I get the alarm and the interior lights wont go off.....
