We got the BEST deals today!
There is a consignment sale here every fall and spring, just 1 day. DH and I went today and got a mattress for the baby's crib ($5), a Safety First Baby Gate ($8), 17 outfits (0-3, 6-9 mnths), I got a maternity sweater ($2.50), a pair of maternity pants ($1), and a brand new super nice high chair ($37)....GRAND TOTAL $101 !!!!
We got his crib a few weeks ago, a $250 crib, practically brand new, for $100!!!
My cousin gave us a Glider Rocker and Ottoman, one of those toy racks that has bins for the toys, and a Little Tykes play kitchen she got for FREE! All in EXCELLENT condition. We are SO BLESSED!
I'm so HAPPY!
We still need to get the car seat (will get that new though after a lot of research...I'm not skimpin on safety stuff)...we also will get a swing, bouncy, toys, bedding, yada yada later. But we aren't due until January, so we have time still.

Wow awesome deals!! You are well on your way to getting everything you need! I agree with buying a new car seat though....never sure why someone is selling something and Id want to be safe!!
