Default For all you bookworms out there

I was just wondering how many books do you have in your house you have not read yet? This spring i weeded out lots of books (mostly from friends who said you have to read this book) Well i had so many books it overwhelmed me. Now i have about 20 books have not read yet...a little challenge to myself is to read the books i have and not buy anymore books untl all is read. I love books and have a habit of running to goodwill and looking at books and sometimes i buy one.

I have several hundred...not sure of the count, exactly. I've built up my collection over the past 15 years. They do me wonders though, as I live in a tiny town with a tiny library and no bookstore.

I have about 7 or 8 books right now that I haven't read. If I don't read it within a certain amount of time, and it really isn't highly interesting to me, I will donate it to the library. I do keep quite a few books that I really love however.

I have about 15 that I picked up at a garage sale and some from the library...but I have about 200 that I reread...that's the sign that I really like them when they go on my reread shelf

I have lots, my neighbor reads alot & gives them to me when she's done. Meanwhile I have books from the library that I enjoy so I never seem to catch up.

Amy, hope you enjoy One Hundred Years of Solitude, it was one of those books I couldn't get into. I tried and when it got to be like pulling teeth I gave myself permission to return it to the library. I know it was an award winner but oh my not to me. Funny how some people love a book and others don't.

I have a ton! LOL. Besides buying new books for gifts and from our PTA book sale, I haven't bought a new book in over a year! I use Paperback Swap to get books I want and I use www.librarything.com to catalog my library. You can browse it if curious at http://www.librarything.com/home/PaulaPAFW

We probably have 200 to 300 waiting to be read. I was just at the used book store today and traded some in for 5 different books. You can't have too many if you ask me.

The only ones I haven't read belong to my son! I am in desparate need to get some books. I actually read quite a few of his LOL, like the whole Golden Compass series and the Water Horse, and an Anthony Horowitz one. He always laughs when I am reading his books.....

Amy, I HIGHLY recommend The Kite Runner! It was wonderful!!!!

NONE! I don't buy books for myself any longer - I just check them out at the library.

All the books Amy Boz listed plus about 25 more! I cannot, NOT buy a book that sounds good to me! It's my only vice, so I'm good with it.

I'm not willing to admit how many books are here that I have yet to read. Let's just say...lots.
