Making big changes..........
Do you ever feel like you just need to shake up your life a little bit? I've been thinking all summer that I need to take control of my life and make some changes.
This past Friday I got rid of the only daycare child I had left. I HATED to let him go, but his mom is a spoiled brat who has no consideration for anyone but herself. I finally got tired of her "forgetting" to pay me and when she called me 15 minutes before they were to be here Friday to leave a voice mail message that she was taking him to his grandma's I just had enough. I quit! And I left HER a message telling her just exactly what I thought of her and her rude and inconsiderate ways too LOL!
Today I went and got all my hair cut off LOL. It is thick and naturally curly and generally just a mess. It was halfway down my back and now it's gone! If you've ever watched the tv show Jon and Kate Plus 8, it's cut like her's. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Tomorrow I'm dragging out the treadmill! I know from past experience that I have to get in the habit of exercising every day, THEN start my eating program or it won't work. I can't do both at the same time to start out. So it's on the treadmill every morning for me!S

Way to go! A good shake up can do wonders for your life, and outlook. I need another one...2.5 years ago I broke up with my ex and lost 60 lbs. Now I need something else. I've started simplifying my life, through this site, with weeding out junk from my home, and working on money management.

Funny how the right haircut can be motivating.
I had mine all cut off (down to about the small of my back) in an act of solidarity when my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and lost her hair to chemo. Now, around Thanksgiving, I get it whacked off again, and spend the rest of the year, having fun figuring out what to do with it at progressively longer lengths.

You go girl! Standing up for yourself is a must! Funny you mentioned the treadmill! I told DH I needed some motivation to start using mine (yeah, I know, good health should motivate you...yada yada yada), so we have a deal. I want a Wii with a Wii fit.......he said if I do 20 minutes a day for 60 days he'll buy me one, WOOT! I love a good bribe. And after that, it goes up to 30 minutes a day for 60 days...gotta think of what I want for my next prize though.
