I think you said it...by the Grace of God. That is what is getting you through these tough times. Adding you and your family to my prayer list. Remember He doesn't give us more than we can handle and provides us with all we need. And I agree this is a test of your faith and it sounds like you are passing.

I hope things get better soon for you. I know things are hard for everyone. We're experiencing our share too. Good Luck.

Wow! Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. I'm grateful for them all. And yes my husband has thought about that handyman thing. He has been putting himself out there and taking as many of those jobs as he can find. We also are thinking ahead for next planting season and are putting out feelers for area farm stores carrying fresh herbs. My husband has a giant green thumb and we have several local farm stores that at this time do not carry fresh herbs but do buy local grown and local baked goods. We were hoping that they might carry some of our home grown herbs. Some of the stores carry our friend's organic garlic. Just something we are thinking and praying on. Things are rather depressed in our area, every week new for sale signs are popping up in front yards. Also absolute auction signs and going out of business signs. Everybody has it rough around here, but I suspect that our area is just a reflection of the country as a whole. For all those that put out there their own struggles I've uplifted you in prayer today and as much as you pray for good things for my family, I pray for yours.
May God keep and sustain us all,
Polly
