    Default Still Hanging On......update

Well, were still hanging on...by the Grace Of God...I have no idea how we are holding our heads above water but we are. My husband still has not found gainful employment despite spending several hours each day sending out resumes and attending union meetings. No one is working. That said we have had a bit of income coming in. Last week a handyman job and a house sitting job, this week a painting job, next week he will be hanging some doors, I've had a few babysitting jobs here and there, and sat on a market research panel to eat goat cheese and use dishwashing soap paid $110 for that. Like to get more of those jobs. We have 9 months left of our car payment! Praise God, down to single digit. Mortgage has not been late yet. Just hanging on by a thread but still hanging on. This has been very faith building for sure, just when we think we are not going to make it a bag of food shows up on our doorstep or a small job to do. We feel extremely blessed.

So that's it. No great news to report but no bad news either.

It's hard right now for everyone. I hope he gets work soon.

My DH isn't working either. My business is down. Last month we only made about $200 from that and I only get $200 a month in child support. We are behind on some things this month.

    Good luck.

    Yep, attitude is everything!

Has your husband ever considered starting a handyman service? Like, a Husband-For-Hire? There is never a shortage of work for trustworthy, handy guys, especially around senior citizens.

Good luck... I'm sure things will look up soon!
