digital tv
Today at noon my town made the switch to digital tv. We are the test area to see how it all goes together. My tv is working fine, I have cable and see no difference. If you use an antennae and do not have cable or satelite or your tv is not digital ready then you need the converter box. So far, all is well.

From what I heard, if you have cable or satellite tv, you won't see any difference.
I am waiting on 2 coupons for converter boxes. They should come in the end of the month. currently we have Directv but I want that gone. If we can pick up stuff with the boxes, Dtv will be GONE.

I remember hearing on The Big Show (John Boy & Billy in the morning) that the Wilmington area was going to be the test area. I had forgotten all about it til I saw this post. They were talking about it last month or so on their show. I remembered some of the stations they were talking about from when I lived in Lumberton, and I think they did a radio interview with someone from one of the local stations as well.
I know I told my aunt and uncle that live in Raleigh but they all ready had cable so they aren't worried.
Glad to know all is working fine for you so far. Hope it stays that way.
