That's just terrible. I'm glad to hear all were okay and they had insurance. Thank God it happened in the middle of the day and not at night while they were asleep. Your a good sister for helping out your brothers family. We all need to take care of each other, it's a rough world out there.

A house fire is so terrible. I've been through it. I am so glad no one was hurt.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother's house. I always worry about the loss of the items like pictures that can't be replaced. I have lots of really old pictures from my grandparents families that I inherited. I hope everything turns out ok for them, and thank God no one was hurt!!

2 yr old faulty wiring? Man, I smell lawsuit heaven here!
But still, losing the home really sucks. My condolences to your brother! If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Glad no one was hurt and they had insurance.

Hugs to your brother and his family. What a terrible loss and yet a great fortune that it was only material things are gone. I'm glad everyone is safe.

Very sad for them, but what a blessing you will be able to be to them! Hopefully they will be able to replace most of those photos.
