What are you paying for gasoline right now?
Ours really shot up the past couple days and went up another dime overnight. The newscaster said it could go up even more due to the fact there MIGHT be problems from the hurricane. :gaah: How much are you paying?
Regular $3.69~Dana~

I paid $3.57 for regular this morning. I decided to fill up rather than wait to see what happens with prices.

Yesterday ours was $3.68, around 9 am this morning it was up to $3.80. On my way home from errands at 1pm it was running $3.99 -$4.10. Those prices reflect a 25 mile drive where I went past several stations. Our local news is saying gas will be up to $5.00 by the end of the day. It is crazy in my town, lines at all 4 stations, cops directing traffic in and out. I filled up my tank earlier after taking kids to school, but I heard that they are limiting people to 10 gallons of gas.

Our town went nuts last night over gasoline. The rumor mill started...said gas was going up to $5 today. DH called me about 6pm las night (I was in another town at DD softball game), and said that there were lines of cars backed out onto the road waiting to get gas. We only have 4 gas stations in town (pop 3500). That was too funny. I am not waiting in line to get gas because gas "might" go up the next day. Last night it was $3.45 and today it is $3.89.

This morning it was $3.45, and as I got closer to work I saw several gas stations at $3.38. I'll have to look tonight. *sigh* just when it was starting to go down. You just can't win.

I talked to a lady last night that works for an oil company. She said that their price went up 20 cents yesterday and was expected to go up again today but they weren't sure how much. So she couldn't confirm the rumor. She said that is was depending on what happened with the hurricane.

We are not going any where near town its a mad house so I have no idea what gas is doing around here.
I'm sure it is going up because they had to shut down the refineries (sp) on the Gulf Coast.

I was waiting in line at the pump and it was 3.69. WHILE I was waiting, the sign (it is electric - not those panels the employees change) changed to 3.99. Yup, instantly went up .30 while I was waiting in line. I was furious.

Ours went down to today. It was 3.43 yesterday and today it is 3.32. Our town is a little weird. Last year it was one of the more expensive places to buy gas, but now it is cheaper than the surrounding area. There is a lot of price matching here. If one station lower (or raises) the price the rest all follow suit. You can watch the prices change from East to West.
