This is Easier than I thought!

The kids have decided that they want to move all the small stuff as we change everyone's rooms around. So, as I am making dinner here in the kitchen, the kids are up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs, down the stairs, moving all the small things.
They don't want me to see until they are "done." I'm sure it will be a royal mess, but they feel like they're helping and it means I don't have to move the small stuff later.

Very sweet! Although, why is it when kids "help", it always means more work for us?

Pretty much as I expected.

However, I thanked them and praised them for all of their hard work. We'll straighten it all out tomorrow.
One thing I hadn't anticipated is that, apparently, old toys are suddenly new when placed in a new room. They've been in the new playroom all morning.

Ahh the "new toy phenomena", it really is funny to see that in action.

Glad it is going well. The new toy thing - I rotate our toys to different floors every few months and it is amazing how much more they will play with stuff then.
