    RealmsCon in an annual Anime convention that is held here in Corpus Christi. It lasts 3 days. People dress up (cosplay) like their favorite characters - 3 of my daughters went as the characters of the video game Kingdom Hearts (Riku, Sora & Kairi).My oldest dd had 3 different costumes that she wore, but wore the Riku costume for the cosplay contest.She dressed like Kenshin on the first day, then Reno the next. Due to so many people in the room where the contest was held(fire code), everyone was ushered out except for the cosplayers when they announced the winners - so I missed out on the expressions on my dds's faces when they were awarded the grand prize. I wish that I could have taken better pictures when they were on stage, but the camera was acting up
    Also at RealmsCon, they have actual celebrities that attend - like the voice actors/actresses of different anime shows, famous comic book artists & for the past 2 years, they've had a famous rock band from Japan...they also host video game competitions...they have lots of anime vendors,etc...they have more stuff, but that's what all comes to mind. I've never really been "into" cosplaying (go there for my kids)...but for next year, I'm considering cosplaying Sally from Nightmare before Christmas.lol
