Jobless (not mine thankfully)

I met a friend who changed jobs to work at the airport doing check-in and she told me today that she is not having her contract renewed in Oct due to the 3 airlines/operators that have gone bust in the last few weeks aswell as K&S Travel who went bust LAST night in the early hours so its now 4 airlines the airport has lost, and told my friend that due to this there is not much work and therefore can not keep her working.

The other problem is that is the job i am going to apply for in Dec/Jan as its something that i would really like to do but if this is happening then i think i will have to up the EF for a 'just incase' kind of emergency but i hope things will improve soon

~Upping the EF is always a good idea! I decided to do that this year because of the uncertain economy. Certain members of my family are struggling, which is hard to watch, but no-one I know is job-less yet. The best we can do is to be as prepared as possible.~
