Default What's going on today 9/18?

    Goood Morning all!!!

Ike is still having an impact here in the amount of power that's out around town. A side effect of that is the schools being closed. That means everyone who has kids has a screwed work scheduale even if where they work is up and running. That said, I've worked some really strange hours and am starting my time off today. I was already schedualed for a long weekend so I just extended it a day.

I'm going to get caught up on house stuff, errands, and packing today. I was going to try and cram it all in after work so this will make it a little more enjoyable.

What's on your agenda for the day???

This morning, I have some household chores to do (dishes, laundry, etc.).
Then I am going with my DH to get his stitches out after getting a skin cancer removed last week. That means a trip to Des Moines, so I may see if he is up for a trip to the craft store and Target. I really don't want to buy anything, but I would love to window shop a little.
When we get back, I am going to cook dinner, work on my afghan, and do so more packing.

I am going to finish checking out a few things here at the FV, then go lay down on a heating pad to help loosen my back muscles. Around 11:00 I am taking the kids to daycare, so they can eat lunch, and lay down for their naps at the normal time. I am then going to come home and scrub my floor and continue some other house work. The one in the avatar picture is turning 1 on Sunday so we are having her birthday party on Saturday.

I then have a meeting at 2:00pm for work (hence the kids going to daycare, hubby will pick them up around 3:00 or so). After my meeting it is more cleanin for me and everyone else in this house!!!

I got up early this morning and drove to town for a staff meeting at 7:30am and then drove home and so far have not gotten much done that is productive here. I do plan on doing laundry and changing the linens on our bed and scrubbing DH's bathroom. I am hoping to get some time with my current book that I am reading also.

I already got kids up, fed, off to school ( along with another child )I got laundry in dryer, dishwasher ran, kitchen clean, and workout clothes hanging to dry.

Still need to put away dishes and laundry. Vacuum. Mow front lawn and check in a few forums until 3, when I pick up my kids and one more from school. Then dinner, and getting ready for dd gymnastics and me going to work out while she is doing that. Home for showers and bed.

WELL... I WAS planning on staying home today and getting caught up on my messy house. I got the kids off to school this morning, and then I started on my pile of laundry. No sooner did I sit down at my computer when the daycare that I occasionally fill in for called to ask if I could come in for a couple of hours. So...

I'm going to scramble and finish some things around here before I head in to work. Not so bad, I LOVE having extra money!

I have to search hill and dale for a thrift shop that has a bread box. Plus I gotta meet up with a craigslist guy who is selling me his electric fencer. (it's the electric part of an electric fence.) ACE hardware has one if you wanna google and see what it is. I have to stop at a natural foods store and pick up millet and mung beans. Um...i think that's about it.

I had a hair appointment this morning. Stopped at Aldi's and found some good deals. Picked up my dd from school and I am now catching up on here. I had a meeting tonight but now my dh is stuck at work, so the children and I will just hang out at home.

Quiet day. A few house chores.
    Make dinner. Quiet beautiful day.
