Re-Intro II
Hey gals, I've been away for quite sometime--but I'm back. I always learn so much here. Since I was here last, We've made career changes and moved back to our hometown to be closer to our elderly parents (It's cheaper than missing weeks and weeks of work at a time plus the driving back and forth)
Here's an update of my introduction:
How did you hear about frugal village? Google
What interests you here? EVERYTHING--you are amazing individuals!
What will you contribute? I have a great sense of humor so I hope to make you laugh. However I am a great cook and a scrapbooker. (not always in that order)
Do you know any other members here? a few names and faces are coming back to me.
How many kids? Ages? We have a blended family of 6 kids
23, 22, 19, 18,11, and 7: one boy--5 girls
Tell us about yourself. Well, I am one of the luckiest girls I know. I have a very supportive family, I homeschool my youngest little girls after teaching in the public schools for about 8 years. I'm also learning how to take care of my parents (a job that is harder than raising the children). I've been fortunate to have several different careers.
Do you own any pets? Our Beta fish Phoenix
Occupation? I would say that I'm a SAHM except I havent got that stay at home thing down very well. I may be an on the run mom/daughter. This is the first time that I've ever had the opportunity to stay home (sort of), I used to take our little girls to the office with me and homeschool from there, but a career change has allowed me to work hard at SAHM
Married or single? Married to the man who can finish ALL of my sentences ALL of the time. (I can do the same--it's hilarious to freak out our children) You would think after 17 years they would stop being so shocked.
Interests and hobbies? I am an avid scrapbooker, cardmaker, new gardener, (my dh and my parents are giving me a greenhouse for Christmas to continue my new found gardening skills). I'm also interested in learning a "greener" lifestyle.
